I am studying at the English Language and Intercultural Center (ELIC) at Oklahoma State University, where I am enhancing my English proficiency. I am from Saudi Arabia, and my stay in Stillwater will last only two more months but I am planning to return.

 

I want to study abroad to grow and experience different cultures. I aim to get a master's in advertising at Oklahoma State University. Being in a new place will help me learn and develop ideas that are important for a career in advertising.

I believe that studying at Oklahoma State will provide the skills I need to succeed.

 

I chose the United States because I believe I can learn new ways of thinking and values in a country with such diverse cultures.

 

I come from Saudi Arabia; a country full of rich culture. Many travelers come to explore places like Riyadh and Jeddah, where I live. Jeddah has a lovely coast and historic sites, blending the old and the new. There is a lot to enjoy there!

 

In Oklahoma, I can see beautiful sunsets and a wide variety of animals. At Oklahoma State University, there are many dogs and squirrels I have never seen in Saudi Arabia! Watching the dogs play and the squirrels run around adds to the fun. The friendly atmosphere and lively animals make Oklahoma a special place compared to Saudi Arabia. It's wonderful to see so much life here!

 

I enjoy taking pictures, watching anime and movies, and listening to music. I'm looking forward to hanging out with people who are not from Saudi Arabia and would like to speak English more frequently to improve my communication skills while I'm in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

 

I am writing this with the hope that more people will learn about Stillwater, Oklahoma. There are many enjoyable places in Oklahoma beyond the well-known attractions. I invite you to come and experience all that it has to offer for yourself!
